2.    Each of the following age groups will be evaluated by professional, USA Hockey certified coaches:   

 

 

 

3.    The evaluation results of the professional coaches will be tabulated and the team placement will be established under the supervision of the BKHA Hockey Director promptly after the final session. For current BKHA players, the evaluators will also take into consideration assessments from their current coaches. The team roster list, for each age group, will be submitted by the Hockey Director to the Board of BKHA within 48 hours from the last tryout, who will in turn post them on the website within 24 hours of the submission.

 

4.    In the event players are ranked evenly after the evaluations, other available information will be considered, including:

 

a)    The number of tryout sessions attended

b)    Input from the player’s coach during the previous season, where available

c)    Age of the player (1^st year vs. 2^nd year in his/her age group)

 

The BKHA Hockey Director will have the responsibility to consider all available information and make placement determinations in the event of “tied” rankings.

 

5.    New and returning players are required to attend all tryout sessions. Under our new Open Tryout policy, returning BKHA players are not guaranteed a spot on either the A or B teams and will be ranked together with players who did not play for BKHA in the previous season.

 

6.    BKHA is State Tournament bound and will seek to field the strongest possible A   

 

 

7.    Selected players must register for the 2012-2013 season through the website at www.bedfordbearshockey.com. At the same time, they will be required to pay a deposit equivalent to one half (1/2) of the season’s fee. Fees per age group are listed under the "Fee Schedule" tab.  Players who fail to register and pay their deposit within 5 calendar days from the posting date will be dropped from the list and the opening will be filled with the next player on the waitlist.

 

 8. Selected players who played for another organization in 2011-12 will need to   

      obtain a duly signed release from their previous organization and e-mail it to
